For this edition the organizing team, Biela Club Manresa, had prepared a different itinerary from previous years. The rally consisted of two stages: one on Friday afternoon/night with 3 stages (Artes, Talamanca and Rocafort) with two passes and another on Saturday, more similar to previous editions, with 6 different specials (Vilaredes, La Flauta, La Font, Taurons, Galera and Puig-Reig) in a double pass as well. Which made a total of 137.84 km timed.

With this route, due to the dates we are on and the location of the stages, we predicted that it would be a long, cold and hard rally. Thus, and after the administrative and technical checks on Friday morning, the rally started at 5:00 p.m.
The first section, semi-urban, was a success so that the fans could enjoy the competition without having to travel excessively. It was followed by the Talamanca and Rocafort specials, always mythical in this area. It was a different start than previous years, but we were able to finish the day in 5th position.

Already on Saturday, we started the stage printing a higher pace, knowing that the morning stages were more favorable for us since in the afternoon, presumably we would suffer more. In this way, we arrived at the midday regrouping in 4th position, but only with an advantage of 0.7 seconds over our direct rival, Segú-Gil (Citroën DS3 R3T) and with a little more distance, 4”, with the winner Last year, Vila-Poch (Peugeot 106).
As we expected, in the afternoon we were not as competitive, setting more discreet times, which relegated us to sixth place in the final. Happy to have reached the finish line, but with a little bad taste in the mouth after escaping 4th position in the final stages of the race. Next year, we will be back!
